It was one of those very hot Thursdays one of the ones that you go outside and go back in saying I want a pool. But in this case I was thankful for being at a water park. Being at a water park and being hot mix like peanut butter and jelly. It was like one hundred degrees. Even when we left at nine AM it was at least seventy degrees. When we left the
park at eleven PM it was at least eighty degrees. But the real temperature in the middle of the day was ninety degrees.
The chocolate brown colored cart was right there in front of me; it was about six feet long and two and a half feet tall. I jumped in the cart with excitement getting ready to pull down the seat protector. The ride before us was loud like hell. The screams from the ride before us were brain torturing...mind blowing. The seat protector came down.
What will happen, I said to myself will I be able to go to New York City in eighth grade with the mind that I have now? Or will I have to see a mental doctor every week because some part of the ride didn’t go as I planed? Would Izzy and Emmy are probably waiting to see me on the ninety foot drop along with my mother. Also, the good things I was thinking were OMG this is going to be AWESOME I have been waiting for this all summer. I think that this is going to be the best rollercoaster I have ever been on considering I have been going on roller coasters since I was two.
My sister Maddi and her best friend Sammi were more scared then me watching Monsters Inc. when I was 4 except they weren’t cuddling up with my mom but they were closing their eyes. All of a sudden there was a clanking noise one of the ones that sounded like a suit of armor or a robot, except this one was to let us be free, free of just sitting there scared to death. We started to go very slowly at first then we picked up some speed.
We then start to go up the 90ft mountain at first we did a boring dip down then we went up the really steep mountain. I thought that I was going to fall out of my seat protector. Then we got to the top and I saw Izzy and Emmy waving to me but I couldn’t get my hand up in time to wave. we already started to go. While we were going I tried to even scream but I just couldn’t get the words out of my mouth it was like the air just got sucked out of me like after you just got in a car crash or when you get stuck at the top of a Ferris wheel . My heart felt like it stopped working for a second. My mind said say hi even if you whisper it it still counts as saying hi.
We then went the rest of the way screaming like owners of a dog after they got a bath. Then we got to the area that you board and get off. Maddi and I then learned that day never judge a roller coaster by the picture especially if your friend says “look at the picture of UNTAMED it looks so scary”.
